SBN Presents NBA D-League Highlights (12/8/2012)

It was a busy seven game schedule last night as teams not only fight for glory, but also for the attention of any NBA scouts watching.  Let's start out East where the Fort Wayne Mad Ants played on the road against of the Maine Red Claws.  The Red Claws (4-2) held a slim six-point lead through the first three quarters of Saturday night's contest and withstood a furious fourth quarter by hitting eight of their last 10 free throws to get their first win at home the season, defeating the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (2-5) at the Portland Expo Building, 116-113.

The Springfield Armor got simply manhandled on their own home court by the Canton Charge as Canton won rather convincingly by 30 points.

Out west the Texas Legends grounded the Skyforce, stealing a win in Sioux Falls with a score of 86-82.

The Tulsa 66ers used a team effort to take down the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, 109-98, on Saturday night at the SpiritBank Event Center with four players scoring 18 or more points

The Santa Cruz Warriors earned the hard fought road win along with bragging rights for Californian supremacy as they took down the LA Defenders 99 to 93.

The Idaho Stampede remain winless this season as they lose yet again on their home floor--this time to the Austin Toros 98 to 88.

The Reno Big Horns trampled all over the Bakersfield Jam crushing the Jam 106 to 86 winning for the second night in a row.
