SDH Presents NBA Nightly Highlights (4/7/2013)

The playoff seeding have all but been set--now it is just about waiting until the season finally draws to a close.  Take a whip around the league and check out the highlights from all the action this Sunday in the NBA as the Los Angeles Clippers look to secure their first division title in the 42-year history of the franchise!



Last night saw the meek inherit the Earth as the losingest team in professional sports history won its first division title in its entire history.  Check out some of the highlights from the Clippers historic win on Sunday over Kobe Bryant and the Lakers as they not clinched their first division title ever, but also initiated one of the greatest paradigm shifts in sports history.


Sunday night was also the setting for an inter-conference shootout as the two top scorers in the league squared off by bragging rights and glory.  Check out the highlights from Sunday's BIG showdown between the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder as Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant battled not only for the win but also for the scoring title! Melo finished with 36 points while KD tallied 27, leaving Carmelo with a .09 PPG advantage for the NBA scoring title while stretching the Knicks winning streak
to 12 games!



This week also showcased a career milestone as one of the NBA's most decorated coaches etches his name in the history books.  Take a look back at Minnesota Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman's incredible journey to 1,000 wins including his days at Loyola college as a player and his time as an assistant under hall of fame coaching legend, Dr. Jack Ramsey.
